YOUR COMPASSIONATE BADASSERY SUPERPOWER IS: LEADERSHIP

Your super strength is all about helping people make things happen.

Leadership comes in many forms. If you’re not in a traditional position of power, you might think that being a leader doesn’t apply to you. Not true! Leadership isn’t about having power over people, it’s about supporting and inspiring others. You might use your strength to help your team stay focused on the mission, to assist friends in accomplishing goals, or to share an uplifting vision of the future during these challenging times.

Research on the benefits of the strength of leadership found that leaders are respected and valued by others. Leadership is related to emotional stability, openness, good social intelligence, and conscientiousness. Good leaders bring out the best in others!

Want to practice compassionate badassery? Lean into being the kind of leader YOU would trust and respect.

YOUR NEXT STEPS

People with strong leadership skills can become so focused on taking care of their teams that they forget to address their own needs.

Right now, think about how you want other people to feel when they’re around you. Got it? Maybe you came up with safe, secure, valued, respected, or appreciated.

Your first step? Take care of yourself. You are highly contagious. Your perspective and emotions have a big impact on those you lead.

If you create internal conditions of safety and appreciation, you’ll spread that externally to those around you. Self-care is team-care.

Thinking you got the wrong superpower? Maybe you did! Check out the other results:
